Applicastions for sponsorship
There are the following fees for industrial partners at ERSA conference, which is a part of WORLDCOMP Congress with about 1500 participants:
- $1,500.
- $3,000.
- $4,500.
- $6,000. and up
The money companies are paying will be 100% spent for one or more of the followings:
- One WORLDCOMP refreshments will be highlighted to be sponsored by the Company. The Company can post their logos + banner, at the refreshment areas for publicity.
- They will receive exhibit tables to show off their systems, brochures, ... and talk to people.
- Their names will be listed as official co-sponsor of the conferences (WORLDCOMP'08 and ERSA'08).
- The higher the fee that they pay, the more professional credit we will be giving them. For example, those who pay $6,000, will be given the opportunity to show off their systems at the podium to over 1,500 people, ...
- The more they pay, the more students will be sponsored by their fees and we would announce the number of students sponsored by their fee (most students are only partially sponsored: hotel, meals, some will also receive airfare ...). Also the money will be used to cover the expenses of keynote speakers.
Those who pay $6,000 can present a non-technical version of their system (i.e., advertising) during the conference dinner (1500 people or so) for about 20 minutes or so. And then later, they could present (during ERSA sessions), their technical presentations.
These were the general guidelines; the actual form and time of industrial presentations is a matter of individual agreements. An important issue is that one hour of conference time cost around $1500.
